1:1 Device Program

2025-2026 Devices

Students are strongly urged to use the district-provided devices. If you opt to provide a device for your child, you need to ensure that the device will hold a charge for the full school day as we do not have the capacity for students to plug in devices in the classrooms.

1. 2025-2026 Parent MPS Technology Agreement form
   Parents/guardians, please complete to ACCEPT or DECLINE your student receiving a 1:1 device, complete the orientation and confirm you have reviewed the MPS 1:1 Device Handbook. The agreement form must be accepted before a student is issued a device.
   
   
2. High School and Middle School Students only: complete the online MPS Student AUP Agreement form. You will need to log into your montvilleschools.net account for the link to work!
     
3. MPS Protection Plan
   Montville Public Schools offers protection plan for school-issued chromebooks and ipads at a cost of  $40.00 per device, with a maximum cost of $120.00 for students in a family living together. Protection Plan coverage is from on year and expires August 16th, 2026. We encourage 100% participation in the Protection Plan program. Students are held personally and monetarily responsible for any loss or damage cased by intentional vandalism or negligence. The Protection Plan will cover stolen device with a police report and accidental damage. It will not cover lost devices or malicious acts. We do offer discounts to any students that qualify for reduced and free lunch. Please contact the Nutrition Director if you have any questions at 860-848-9208 ext.1614
   
   Montville Public Schools is using a system for online  payments called mySchoolBucks to collect online Protection Plan fees this year. This is the same program we use with the lunch program. You can also pay with cash or a check. Checks need to be made out to Montville BOE and please write the student's ID number and grade in the memo line. Cash and Checks are to be handed into the main office of your student's school. 
   
   
   
4. Pay for the protection plan online through your MySchoolBucks (lunch program) account. Contact [email protected] for issues with MySchoolBucks.

      2. Navigate to the IT Store and sign in (first time users create and account)
      3. Select the 1:1 Protection Plan.  The price will adjust if you are Free or Reduce lunch once add the plan to your cart. If the price doesn't change, please reach out to the Nutrition Director to verify you lunch status.
