What is ALLI?
ALLI brings high school students in grades 9 - 12 together from across the region of southeastern CT to become educated on current health issues and develop leadership skills. Students also learn about community prevention initiatives that are aimed at reducing substance abuse and other risky behaviors.
ALLI empowers young minds, educates them on contemporary issues, and engages them in leadership opportunities in their communities.
What's Happening This Year
In September, ALLI attended a Generation Leadership Program that encouraged students to engage their leadership abilities and utilize them to inspire change. Students were reminded that they do have the ability to empower others and make a difference. Read more about the Generation Leadership Program here.
Attention prospective students: ALLI is full for the 2018-19 school year. If you are interested in becoming involved with ALLI for the 2019-20 school year, please see Mrs. Macri for further information.
2017-2018 SCHOOL YEAR OVERVIEW
Last school year, ALLI worked in collaboration with the Montville Youth Services Bureau to develop an anti-gambling public service announcement. CREC provided ALLI with a grant to sponsor the production of this PSA, which is now airing in Eastern CT. This PSA was entirely designed, filmed and edited by the students in ALLI. They then had the opportunity to participate in a middle school leadership summit, where they shared what they learned and assisted younger students in the development of their own public service announcements.

Throughout the year, the students attended youth summits, collaborated with local schools, and made meaningful connections with students and mentors.
When we travel to other schools our day will span from as early as 8:00 to 1:45 (Our pick up/drop off times vary depending on the meeting site).
