MHS Morning Announcements

There will be a Boys Lacrosse team meeting on Wednesday, January 23rd from 2:15-2:45 in the cafeteria.
Seniors – your high school dues are $100. These must be paid soon or you will not be able to participate in senior activities, including graduation! Please bring your dues to Miss Fish in room 107 as soon as possible!
AP exam payment/registration are past due - please see your counselor if you are planning on taking the AP exam and you have not registered.
Attention Juniors- Are you ready for a New Year, New You and New SAT scores - sign up in the career center to see your counselor for an individualized score interpretation in order to improve your scores for the March SATs.
It is not too early to think about what classes you would like to take next year. Online registration starts early in February. Stay tuned for details.
New scholarships are posted on the Stop and Scholarship Board near the Career Center. Feel Free to take an application.
Do you have a water bottle or can that you are just going to throw away? Don’t! Please put all bottles redeemable for money in the labeled bins in classrooms and cafeteria. Bring recyclables from home as well! All proceeds from this bottle drive, hosted by National Honor Society , will go directly toward the Thirst Project! See posters for more details!
Students wishing to take an alternate bus home from school must have a note from a parent or guardian turned into the main office by 12:30 PM.
All students who drive to school need a parking pass. Parking Pass applications are located in the Main Office.
Remember students ~ be respectful, responsible and always put forth your best effort.
INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS
JUST A REMINDER
Busses will be leaving the parking lot at exactly 2:10 every day.
Announcements will be read earlier and the bell will ring when announcements are complete, which will be a few minutes before 2:05.
Students taking the bus must move as quickly as possible in order for busses to roll out at 2:10.
DRIVING TO SCHOOL
Students who drive to school need a parking pass. Please come to the main office to pick up an application.
Attention all students: Ear-buds/earphones are only allowed in classrooms at the teacher's discretion. Earphones should not be visible in the hall during school hours, which means no ear-buds hanging off ears or shoulders. Large headphones/headsets are never allowed during school hours; 7:35 am to 2:05 pm.
LATE ARRIVAL/EARLY DISMISSAL forms are available in the main office.
LATE BUS: Any student participating in an after-school activity must obtain a late bus pass from their teacher or coach. The office will not issue late bus passes.
- Late buses are available on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons.
- There are no late buses MONDAYS and FRIDAYS
Available from 2:15 until 3:15. Open to all students.
- Tuesday lab is in room 201.
- Wednesday lab is in room 107.
- Thursday lab is in room 205.
As of Monday May 1st, the cafeteria can no longer accept any new charging. All accounts must be paid in full. Please see Mrs. Osborn with any questions or concerns.
PARKING PASSES: Parking pass applications are available in the main office. All students driving to school need a pass.
STUDENTS DRIVING TO SCHOOL
Students driving to school need to park in Lot A (front of the school). Parking is not permitted in the back or side lots. No exceptions to the rule. Effective immediately cars will be towed at the owner's expense if the rules are not followed.
Student Emergency Health Forms
Students who have not returned their emergency health form to the nurse are reminded to do so. Forms may be obtained in the main office or from the nurse.
MHS CLASS DUES: What is it?
MHS seniors are expected to pay $100 in Class Dues. This is a one-time fee.
The dues are used to cover the costs of the graduation cap and gown, graduation announcements, and Senior Class Outing. Class Dues does not cover the yearbook.
When you make a payment, please make the checks payable to MHS, (write students name in the subject line) and have student being the check to their advisor.
