Our Vision is to encourage lifelong learning and foster an appreciation of words and a love of reading. Media resources are an integral and essential component of the total educational environment. Our public should be productive members of a rapidly changing global society, with a recognition of the power of information and technology. To that end, staff and students will utilize materials and technology with discernment to meet individual purposes.

Teachers Library Calendar

All students can visit the library every day. During their regular library time they can also exchange books. Students in Kindergarten take out one book at a time. All other students can take out two books at a time.

Grades K-2 have a one week lending period. Grades 3-5 have a two week lending period.

When a book is not returned by the end of the lending period it becomes overdue. Students with overdue books can not take out any more books until the over due book(s) are returned.

Lost and damaged books must be returned or paid for before students can take out any more books.

If a student loses a book and pays for it, then finds and returns it before the end of the current school year, the money paid for the book will be returned.
