Personally, the coaching staff dislikes the idea of presenting individual awards
in a team sport. We all realize what we have accomplished together. Winning
the league or the state should be reward enough.
Each player will choose one name for each award. Do not fill this out in groups, this is an individual ballot and not a popularity contest. You may choose yourself if you like, but remember it is always better to give than receive.
PITCHER’S AWARD -- the player whose pitching performance was both consistent
and dominant throughout the past season.

COACH’S AWARD -- the player who both sacrificed his personal interests for those of the team and demonstrated an understanding of the team concept.

UNSUNG HERO -- the player that despite his talents and dedication seems to be overlooked the most by team outsiders.

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER -- the player that meant the most to the program during
the past season and would have been the most difficult to replace. He must also
possess the qualities the program strives for namely sportsmanship, integrity,
leadership and an outstanding work ethic.

ECC SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD -- the player that best exemplifies the qualities of sportsmanship.

MOST IMPROVED PLAYER -- the player who returned to the program that displayed
the greatest level of improvement from the last game the previous year to the
last game this year.
