Dear Parent/Guardian,

 

The purpose of this letter is to apprise you of a situation that came to our attention yesterday afternoon (March 6^th) at approximately 1:45 p.m. As demolition of the boys’ locker room was underway, some of the materials uncovered were detected as possibly suspect regarding their composition. We immediately cancelled all after school and evening activities as a precautionary measure and contacted proper personnel who then conducted tests on these materials.

 

Results of these tests, which were received last night, were negative, indicating that there was no trace of asbestos in any of the debris. Air quality is at an appropriate level and the building has been deemed safe for occupancy.
