Early Dismissals, Cancellations, & Delayed Openings
In the event of inclement weather, the Montville Public Schools use a variety of resources to notify parents, students and staff of school cancellations, delayed openings and early dismissals. These include radio stations, television, and CTWeather.com, an online weather and notification service.

"NO SCHOOL" announcements are made on these radio stations:

WICH -1310, WNLC - 1510, WCTY - 97.7 also WILI and WSUB
Online Notification Service
Television Notification

Closings and cancellations will also be announced on the following television stations:

  • WTNH, channel 8
  • WTIC, channel 3
  • WVIT, channel 30

To access the online notification service, click on the CTWeather icon above. On the main page, click on Cancellations, then on the word Schools.

Scroll down until you locate Montville. If the school district is not listed, this means no official notfication has been given at that time to CTWeather. You may check back later.
