The Business Department offers a curriculum designed to prepare students for those life skills that will be utilized at Montville High School, in post-secondary education or employment. The curriculum strives to reflect emerging technologies that will enable students to research, evaluate, interpret and utilize data successfully. Business courses will provide the foundation of those everyday living skills that will make students successful functioning members of our ever-changing society.

Students will develop techniques for making wise financial decisions, master economic principles and gain an appreciation for the role of business in a global society. The curriculum promotes problem-solving and team-building skills, as well as business ethics and time management strategies.
