| Introduction Students at Murphy School are really lucky! We can use the Grolier Online Encyclopedias from school and home. Now that you have bookmarked Grolier Online at home it is time to go on a webquest to learn how to use this great tool. Grolier includes the New Book of Knowledge Encyclopedia, America the Beautiful Encyclopedia, and Amazing Animals of the World. It also has several dictionaries and thesauruses. Your job is to investigate some of these features. |

Connecticut is a great state to live in with a rich history. The purpose of this WebQuest is to have the students use Grolier Online to answer questions about Connecticut. If you are doing this from home your parent(s) or guardian(s) must be part of your team. If you do not have internet access at home then you need to use the library computers. Come in first thing in the morning (8:30 - 9:45) or at lunch recess to complete your assignment. You may also make arrangements with your teacher. The assignment is due before your next library class. Good luck! |
