Hours of Operation
Mrs. Kane is our full-time library media specialist. Mrs. Kane has an Associates in Computer Science, B. S. in Elementary Education, certified to teach pre-kindergarten through grade eight, and holds a Master in Library Science, certified kindergarten through twelfth grade.
Mrs. Johnson is our friendly, helpful part-time library assistant. She holds a B. S. in Special Education and works 9 - 12:30 on Mondays and 9 - 1 on all other days.
Operations
The official hours of operation for the Library Media Center is 8:30 to
2:50. Mrs. Johnson works 9 - 12:30 on Mondays and 9 - 1 on all other days.

The Library Media program does not start until Day 1 of the second week of school. This is to allow the librarian to ready the database for student checkout and process materials that have arrived over the summer. The library closes for student book checkout around Memorial Day and curtails classes five days prior to the end of school.
