Grade 5 Mission Statement

Grade five is an exciting experience in each child’s elementary school career. Students gain proficiency in core academic areas, with an increasing level of independence. Problem solving, research, and simulations are used to increase student understanding of the fifth grade curriculum. Students gain the interpersonal, organizational, and academic skills that will enable them to successfully transition to the middle school.
