Dear Parent/Guardian:

Montville Public School elementary students and parents are being asked to partake in a school climate survey. We are collecting data regarding your child’s experiences at school and to measure how safe our children feel while in the school buildings.

This survey will be conducted via the Internet. Children in grades one through five will be accessing the survey with their classes in the computer lab. We ask that parents access the survey by going to the school website where you will find a tab to click on labeled ‘Climate Survey’. If you do not have Internet access, we will have hard copies of the survey available in the main office of each building. In addition, you are always welcome to call and make an appointment to use one of our computers in the computer lab or library.

The closing date for this survey is Friday, May 16, 2008. Each of the elementary schools is planning on sharing all results by the end of June.

We thank you for taking the time to complete this survey as your feedback is crucial. It is our hope to use the pending results to make improvements where necessary as we always work to provide the best possible school climate for our children.
