Learning Disabilities

Students who are identified as learning disabled are included in the general education setting. They have instruction by the general education teacher and special education teacher who often work together in a co-teaching relationship. Paraprofessionals assist the teachers in working with the students. The amount of service given to each child is determined at his/her Planning and Placement Team meeting and is part of his/her annual Individualized Education Program.
