Mr. Lilienthal's English course will focus on the development of reading and writing skills. Students will read a variety of fiction and non-fiction works. Some of the novels to be covered are:

That Was Then, This Is Now

Students will be taught a variety of writing strategies including the PENS method of sentence writing. Students will learn to develop complete sentences, paragraphs and longer pieces. Students will write to a variety of prompts.
