FIELD TRIPS
Field trips are an integral part of the Palmer Academy experience. Students
must remember that they represent their school, family, community and themselves
while on a trip. Exemplary behavior is expected of all students. In most cases
field trips are mandatory and attendance is expected. However, certain criteria
exists for recreational field trips. Specifically a student must have passing
grades, all assignments up-to-date and no serious behavioral incidents to participate
in the activity. Funding for field trips is provided through T-Shirt production,
wreath making and yard sales.
To ensure safe trips, the following must be adhered to:
1. All students must have a signed permission slip on file
2. All school rules apply during the trip.
3. Guests of students are not allowed.
4. Students participating in field trips will be required to have their clothing
and other personal items searched prior to entering vehicles.
